Well it is tower time! Took the boat and hard tops to Birdsall marine today. I have been a stalker of the Birdsall's work for 30years! They did one of the first "modern" deck towers that I saw back in 87 on a boat named Poppy B. It was a mako 261. I still would buy that boat today if it still existed. Unfortunately someone ran it on the rocks in sabastian inlet. Still hurts. Anyway, their work is top tier. Should have their vision for the design tomorrow or Wednesday and I will post the build as it happens. It will be a deck mounted walk around tower. There will be a 30" gap between the hard top and tower floor. Of course I didn't take any pics today but not much to see other than my big smile. Stay tuned

The 3D design of the tower is done and they will be bending pipe today! Should have some good pics tomorrow. I will try and get a video of the model.

They got the buggy top frame built today. Built a jig for the tower and they will start that tomorrow.
