That's the way Richard. She'll be ready to prime when she's ready to prime.

Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Re: FS-18 "Bare Bones"
You do know your "buddy" is going to be smashing that boat into the mangroves and oyster bars first trip out! STOP fairing! It's not "fair" to have that boat sit next to mine already!
So give it a try...what does the inside of that heat shrink smell like?

Re: FS-18 "Bare Bones"
I spent another 2 hours this afternoon fairing this boat. It was a mild 98 degrees inside the shop at 1800.
All I have is a little touch up around the skeg and it will be ready to flip or prime.
