Double Layered tapes seam

Is it possible to put two layers of tape on a seam at the same time? Or do I need to wait until the first layer dries before applying the second? Thanks..

You bet! Not only is it the easiest way, it makes a stronger joint.

But you MUST offset the edges by at least 1".
