Would doubling up the thickness the rod holders help?

The hull got some Viagra today! hahaha!

I tripled up what was the rod holders, glued in a scroll cut and then sandwiched that on both sides, then glassing it to the hull. I cut out the coaming at the old seam and install two new laminated pieces of oak. I then filleted and glassed under both sides of the gunnel and coaming. I then glued in the recommended "Hull stiffeners" in between 3 of the forward sections. Now I need to fair, prime, paint, and repair the Kiwi grip.

I doubt you’ll ever have a problem. Looks like a big guy could stand there without much movement. Good work.
