Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
Fallguy I will post a picture later today.
I do not think I will get hit on the corners because the bracket sort of protects that area.
I have some good advice so now I just have to try some things.
Thanks again guys

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
Here are the pictures of what the rail profile looks like.

Better one of just the rubber part

I have tried a couple things today but so far no joy. The big problem is trying to make a hard 90. If there was just a little radius like at the bow then even a 120-150 bend can be done. If you plan on using this rubrail make sure to round over that area

I think it'll look good wrapped around or cut off. The boat looks great, Fuzz!

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
Based on what I saw on the Starfire, you would cut off the top of the base profile.
TT
To the bottom of the TT
And then you would cut off the lock tabs on the cap, but you could do the base first and try the cap before cutting the tabs.
You only do that for the very corner so when you look down the flat sections of boat have the base, but the corner has none. I am assuming you screw or glue the ends.
I am just waking up. After I get a cup of coffee, I will go see if I can trudge through our last 9" of snow and find the one I removed, but the concept is same.

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
Take a picture of the base on the boat with the cap off and I will mark it up where I would cut it.
The Starfire used some adhesive on those spots, but it looked flawless. It was an aluminum base with rubber cap, so a bit different, but like I said, same concept. The corner can't have much profile out.
I can't post pics here, but I'll post the concept on my build thread. You probably get it, so forgive me if I am patronizing at this point.

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
Fallguy I have tried what you are suggesting but so far I am not happy with the result. I have a few more things to try.
