One down fall working in the hot humid air is dripping sweat down on the uncured epoxy. A nice little fan and wear clothes that will wick it away.

I never work on my boat in short sleeves.

Epoxy reaction on my wrists and I can't stand the itch from sanding glass which is daily in my build.

I buy oversized fruit of the loom tees and now we are in the warm season here and I really prefer white ones for those times I am outdoors.

Ken's advice is good, but avoid epoxy exposure as well. Clothing will make a difference.

I buy all cotton, but you might prefer something diferent down there.

I also keep oversized tyvek white suits for the heavy sanding days. I expect that'd ruin your day down there; it gets warm.

Get a big fan. drop the C note on one big enough to create a steady breeze (not a wind). That's one I which I did earlier.

Welcome..

I have built a FS14 and building now a LM18 rc ls in an open carport in Central Florida. Got to keep the sweat from dripping on the cloth/tape and epoxy. I am using only BBC's MarinEpoxy with the slow hardener.

Someone gave me a big bag full of Tyvek sleeves that are really handy for working with epoxy. They have an elastic band at the wrist and one just below the elbow. Have no idea where they come from, but I have enough to last forever, so I don't need to search for them, but maybe someone else can find a source. Mike

FYI you can get them off of amazon, safety supply stores or stores that specialize in animal care. They work very well and sometimes I spec them out for projects at work as part of PPE.
