Talc?

Sorry if this is a repeated question. I have read that talc can be used as an epoxy filler. I have come across a tire shop that can sell me a large quantity for cheap. Can "Tire Talc" be used as a filler for fillets, and what are the pros and cons of using it compared to wood flour or silica?

Looks like it would be the last coat, "fairing and smoothing the finish", I would not use it for fillets, they are structural.

BBC sells wood flour, 5 lbs. $ 20.00...
Wood flour is very fine, filtered, sawdust-like wood by-product. It is an excellent all around filler for creating glues and structural fillets. Use in sewn-seam and stitch and glue construction. Wood flour combines with epoxy to make a non sagging fillet.

I must have 20 lbs. of wood flour, great for everything....

Talc is OK for final fairing, but never for fillets. It's the main thickener in Bondo.
