In for a penny, in for a dime...
Almost an hour with the palm sander... 20 minutes with the belt sander (aka WMD). Wish I had Richard's shop!
Plan is to take it down past the clear coat, and then quick Fair everything, new primer, and then paint. All the way to the glass in some places already. Down to wood on the rub rail. Pattie likes the pattern and suggested just a clear coat...
I told her to socially distance herself!

What are you talking about ? from what I saw you have a great shop, I wish I had a shop, I have to do everything under the carport in that never ending freaking wind, using twice the epoxy because half is blown away before it even left the cup

Starboard side almost finished. Need to move her back on the trailer to get the bow next to the horn and the side by the fender. Put away the belt sander. The two part epoxy paint and primer below is still in great shape, and prepping it for new paint will be much easier than fairing the whole boat again.

While Richard has the nicest shop I have ever seen I do not need it. What I need in the worst way is the talent you, Richard and Peter have. And that ain't something you can buy

Let me rephrase...I want his tools.
Had to stop. Crick in the neck and shoulders aching. Time for a gin and tonic.
