I'm not clear on where that cleat is but I see it's right next to the end of an eye-bolt. Yer gonna bark your knuckles on that, I reckon, which will lead to the use of language on the boat not consistent with propriety.
Either saw off the end of the bolt and file it down or at the very least put an acorn nut on it. A better solution is to skip the eye-bolt, which is more of a hardware store item, and attach a padeye by using rivets. When a lot of tension is put on eye bolts, they will compress the other side of the extrusion, which will mean they will create a clearance which will lead to their coming loose and failing.
My two cents you didn't ask for, for free!!
Thank you Tony😀 You are right about the eyebolts - I will be keeping a good eye on them . I have some acorn nuts too

Congratulations on the finish!!

But, just cause you are a sailor now doesn't mean you stop being a boat builder, so what's the next project?

Thank you OQ! I really appreciated all your encouragement, advice and good humor along the way. If I was ever to build again it would be the HMD19 😀 I know it’s not a sailboat but I’m in love with it anyway

Today was Tipsy’s first venture into the open ocean and we had a blast! We started out heading north along the coast with the wind (10-15mph)behind us from WSW & 2 ft seas. Our trip back to the inlet/jetty was a bit more epic. We were heading strait into the wind(sort of) with seas that steadily built to 4-6 feet and we were taking the waves straight on the nose-but we made it back😀. Tipsy was a steady ole gal and handled everything great! Thanks to Alberto and Yago who were excellent first and second mates. Here’s some pics along with our tracks. Oh - we also saw a humongous sea turtle and a dolphin.

Hi,
This is a beautiful report about your first sail on the sea. How did you record the route together with the map ? Which plotter do you have installed ?
Congratulations to a beautiful finished Adelie.
Greetings from Karl

Nice. Pretty good speed for zero wind, too.
