Transducer Backing Block....Yea or Nay?

Post by SDyeti »

Do you guys/gals think this needs a backing block? Hull was all of 1/4" - 5/16" there. It's definitely doable and I have extra wood/glass to do it but it's definitely going to be an extra day of work. Is it truly necessary?

You will never regret adding the backing plate. I say do it now while it is easy to get to.
