Anyone want to critique my setup?
I have the motor mounted as high as possible on the jack. Might be able to go higher on the holes, but seems weird to see holes above the jack plate? No?

Re: Engine mounting
As you can see the boat has some rocker...

Re: Engine mounting
I see no problems with your motor mounted at this level. By the your paint job is beautiful.

Re: Engine mounting
I shot the design waterline with a laser.
The cav plate is 4.75" below wl at the front and 10 at the back. No trim of course. We probably end up a little under dwl, so add an inch, puts me at 5.75" under on front or say 6-7 trimmed level..
I can't go up higher with the jack plate. I could maybe mount the engine higher on the plate.
My jack plate has enough for extra bolts both top n bottom?

Re: Engine mounting
Does this mean I could go up 3 holes higher? Never figured to mount this high above the plate top?

Re: Engine mounting
Oops, expected waterline is 5.5" above front edge of cav plate and 11" at back of cav plate.

Re: Engine mounting
I would test run it where you have the motors and make adjustments from there.

Re: Engine mounting
Not sure why but I am surprised by the amount of rocker in the hulls. That is going to make things a lot more tricky getting the motor heights right. I am thinking you are going to have to run her and go from there. At this point I have no clue
