Well, work continues. Some slow days. Yesterday, I spent two hours looking for a rubber gasket material I bought last September 20 before it got too cold to work outside.

I have a goal to finish all vac bag work in the next two weeks. There is only a little bit left. Then my vac table can become a work surface.

Today, I am laminating the aft beam locker middle section from Hd 12# corecell 12mm and a couple of locker tops in 20# coosa and the step risers for the helm riser also in 20# coosa.

They all get glassed on one side only as there are no perfs. Probably could have two sided, but feeling like I need to do a good job here towards the end.

Will I be able to launch this summer is the big question. I'd like to think it is attainable, but it is a high goal. I really need about 6 months which puts me back into freezing crap. A possibility is getting the thing done and heading down to Florida with it for the winter.

I have all the components to do my electrical wiring now. But it might be next week before I get to it. I am trying to get ready for the welding guy to spot the windscreen and draw up the hardtop and would be best if I had the riser fitted first, but it isn't quite done...one more spot of fairing.

The door was built by Bomon in Quebec.

Not frustrating at all. You finally get the time to work on the boat. Your back pain, for a few brief moments, isn't forcing you into the fetal position. The stars are aligned to make some serious headway, and......"where the !@#$ is that gasket!?"

Brutal.
There are only two seasons in Vermont: boating season, and boat-building season.

As soon as I get the Newwire switch panel, I am going to laminate red carbon over the console. The carbon is done, just need to do the lamination. Vacuum? Maybe.
