what i was thinking of ,in short version, that your boat has much more hull/bottom underwater than original MG and that makes it more stable. The more submerged surface, the more stable the boat. Maybe i'm wrong, and thats what im asking

Jacques allows a 10% decrease in size but it must be done in every measurement. So, multiply every line on the plans by .90. Tom
