Morning All
Thanks Pee Wee / Oliver. I am nearly there !!!!
So here we go with the Friday photo fiasco posting session......
I have just completed the upper deck caulking ( what fun ) Long messy and hard work, just got to tidy the edges and around cleats etc. I am overall happy with it but as with all these things you learn as you go along, there are a couple of bits I could have done better Nicki thinks I look at it with a to critical eye... maybe she is right.
Anyway here we go with crazy photo posting....
Cheers

Re: LB26
LB26 is probably the prettiest boat Jacques designed in my view , and it is looking like you will have the prettiest boat we have seen on the Bateau forums , in my view . They need to send you some free stickers

Evening Guys
A really massive thanks for the comments Jeff, Rick, Tom, Dan
Sorry to hear about the back Tom, I have suffered for years now, hope it works for you.
Jacques design of the LB26 is to say at the least classy, I looked at many designs for weeks but always came back to the LB26. It just looked right and the lines looked smooth.
As I have mentioned before it is not for the faint hearted, this boat is a challenge, ( and not cheap ) I am almost there BUT it has at times almost beaten me
( please tell me all you boat builders have felt the same )
The forum is a life line and gives hope, advice, encouragement when things seem impossible.
Big thanks to all.

Re: LB26
It took a year and a half and every penny I could spare (especially at the end), but 13 years later it was one of the best things in my life to build my own boat...a little smaller and cheaper than yours, but mine.

Evening All
Cape Man I know you are right and I look forward to the day we motor out of the harbour, although I am sure it will be a scary day.
So just finishing snagging items, electric guys have been in and are back this week fitting batteries and wiring all the main components etc.
Engine is now all wired, controls all in place, steering works fab.
Base seats arrived this week back cushions next week, made the pattern for the winter cover EASY ( NOT ) that has now been sent off to the main land so they can make the proper one.
Photo time......
Cheers
