Honda 2 hp 4 stroke

Post by thb »

I have this 2 hp Honda 4 stroke sitting here doing nothing. It has 1/2 hour of running time on it when I demonstrated it for a friend in my fresh water lake.

It is perfect. This is one of the little air cooled motors with centrifugal clutch.

I would like 900 for it but open to any reasonable offer.

Regards
Tom in Steinhatchee

I fish in way too many places where you are in deep pooky if the main motor craps out. I would keep it for a kicker for the other boats. Getting home slow sure beats not getting home.

Hello all,

Lots of views on this ad but no takers. Is my price too high? Open to reasonable offers.

I think I scared a few off as my Yamaha 2hp has been the least reliable OB I’ve ever owned and I complained plenty about it.

I paid $970 for it pre-Covid in 2017. Cleaned the carbs like ?4 times?. It is sort of almost an annual event. The motors are meant to be used year round and here in MN; we don’t.

Not sure about your price. Guess I’d need to know new prices.

And yours is a Honda; so probably different jets and running more in the south would be the magic.
My boat build is here -------->

I'd make an offer but I just closed on a house and need to get some furniture. :(

BB Sig,

I am open to reasonable offers. I could put it on on FL12 and use it in my 4 acre lake but oars are plenty good in a body of water this small.
