Intended to get another coat of undercoat on today but guess what its raining, the remains of a hurricane from America. Just means we get strong wind and rain. Its always bad weather on August bank holiday weekend.

Looking to launch early next year. Think I will need some shake down cruises before crossing the North Sea

Final coats on the boat only needs anti fouling a couple of weeks before the launch. Cannot believe I have finally finished most of the outside after all these years. Off to the Southampton Boat Show next week to spend a lots of pounds on the plotter and windlass. Cannot really afford it heating systems died and they want £7200 for a new one and that's including a Government grant of £7500 for an air source heat pumps system.
