Well Looks like Ophelia is closing in on us. Cat one storm probaly by the time she passes over the gulf stream. I hate the ones that move so slow. It will probaly last for three days. We have had 40 mph wind gus today. Rain is heavy already. Don't think I will get to launch tomorow...LOL o well it could be worse. I have a generator but will probaly lost internet connection tonight. Hoping for the best.

Sea trials
Yes the props come in .....cummins.....sent three pitches for the trials. The factory tech. came today and ran test on the engine and check my install. Everything was right.
The boat is fast ( 45knots ) at 3900 rpm with 26" pitch props. It is very stable at all speeds and handles great.
I still have some details left to do but it is ready to fish. Did not have time to take pictures today since it was only the two of us.
I will take pictures next time.

weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
You are right about the top speed. More impressive to me is the speed at 50% power (2000 rpm) which was 23 knots. That power setting uses about 7 gals/hr. That is 16.4 hrs of fuel at that speed. Great hull design.
I have to find someone with a boat that can keep up with me to take some pictures..LOL
Oh ...bye the way... the boat is named Bubba....
At the ramp today two of the large marine dealers were launching boats. They wanted to know the brand of the boat.....I told them it was custom built by Bubba's Boat Works. All that sanding paid off.
