Putter, just saw the picutes of your boat. I'm jealous with how fast you were able to build it. I've got over 18 months in mine.
Great job.

ps. to fix your link, move the closing url bracket to after the link. like so

Excellent looking boat. It will probably take me at least twice as much time to finish mine. :D

GK108/Sgorey,

We have been highly motivated on this end to try to get this boat in the water! The experience has been fun building the boat, but we are all looking forward to exploring the lakes that are all around us here in SC. We just moved here a year ago from OH and being involved in the outdoors is hard to ignore.

Thanks for the compliments, we will keep cranking :!:

Very impressive. I'll be ready to prime my D15 soon. Which primer are you using, Putter?

I have been using the system3 high build primer and the system 3 topcoat. It is all water based and is pretty easy to apply. I was going to toll and tip, but I ended up buying a $99 HVLP gun from Northern Tool and it is much quicker and neater to apply. It is an air hog, so you need a pretty large compressor to keep it going. Also had to play with the thinning to get a nice even coat, but now it is laying on just fine.

Good luck.
