Attached are some pics of my Sharpie. I didnt build the sailing version, just wanted to row around the lake. My wife and neighbors are ammazed at how well it came out.

Good looking boat Cheech.
The page doesn't load correctly for me, so I only get the 1 pic of you rowwing her. But what I see looks fine!

Thanks for the great praise. Now that shes complete I guess I'll just have to start another project. :wink: :D With so many designes the hard part is figuering out which one to build next.

Looks great! Your boat came out very nice. It looks like a super rowing boat. From the pictures it looks a lot like a dory style. Tell me about your paint. What brand did you use and how did you apply it?

I love the color scheme. It cleverly detracts attention from the fiberglass tape egdes and is very elegant. Great job, thanks for the pictures.

Thanks again.
Cost was a factor so I went and got a gallon of porch paint for the white. The red was on sale a local marine store, so i got a quart of that for the sides. It was rolled on with a foam roller and leveled out with a foam brush. It wouldnt win any contests for smoothness, but for the backyard it works.
Noticed the tape, ey. I scraped and sanded and scraped and sanded and still coundnt get it as smooth as i wanted. I also wanted to get her in the water fast, so that might have had something to do with it.:-)

Great looking boat! Never would have spotted the tape and even then she looks better than many production boats... :P
