Believe it or not the boat doesn't have a set of plans, per se. Terry Guthrie of Harker's Island designed and built the hull due to our limited time constraints. The only plans are a " number board ". The numbers are half widths, deadrise, etc, at spaced intervals along the keel. The deadrise is continually changing from the stem to the stern. Tumble home is off of patterns. The bottom is the key. That's where the "number board" comes into play. The numbers are the bottom. You could build five separate boats with the same bottom. All five hulls could be completely different from the chine up. Different looks, same great riding bottom.
Most of the builders here have switched over to cold molded construction. Many of the plank-on-frame builders in the area have given it up. Same principal, just need a good riding bottom design. Stay tuned, should have some new pics by the end of the week.
