Beautiful work. Does it slow you down much with those huge blocks mounted to the bottom?

Great job! We will, of course, have pictures this weekend of her on the water in motion, yes?

looks great! Are you planning on using that boat on Barnaget Bay? I am interested in building a boat this winter to use both on the bay and in fresh water. Let me know how that flat bottom handles the chop. thanks

Hi All

It's been a while since posting the klast pics. Although the boat was in the water there were not many sunny days to take pics. I took these about 2 weeks ago.

Beber, it does OK in the bay. On really windy days its kinda scarry. On one day I was going to a friends where most of these pics were taken and had to turn back but that was a really nasty day. On most days its Ok. I took it out to tices shoal one day after work with no problems about 5 miles round trip.

bobs,

Looks great. Tices shoal is very nice. Last sumer I had a 21 ft boat docked in Waretown and we used to take it over to tices shoal alot. Even in that boat the chop on the bay could get nasty especialy late in the afternoon. I just sold that boat a few weeks ago and I'm thinking about building the FS14 this fall/winter. I live in northern NJ so I'm looking to use the boat in lake hopatcong and in barnaget bay.
