Yes, for sure, we should start a new thread.

Can I have a day or so to confirm my calendar?

The cape sounds nice. Is there a particular spot you have in mind? Plymouth sounds even better, since it's a shorter ride. Takes an hour off the trip just because you don't have to sit in line at the bridge.

Is there a spot that's friendly to all sizes of boats?

I'm startiing some very preliminary inquiries (Dave, see your email).

I'm also trying to clear June 30 on the calendar. What do you guys think?

The big challenge, as always, will be finding a place that:

- Has a boat launch with ample parking in the summer, close to our destination (ha!)

- Allows boats to beach near the family/swimming area - that was the problem with Cochituate, we had to chooose between boating & swimming, and could not really dock or beach the boats when we wanted to hit dry ground.

- Is central to all interested attendees: South Shore looks good now, but wait 'till the NH/Maine guys kick in.

Anyway, despite it all, I think we can make it work this year. If you guys have ideas on location and can make some inquiries also, that would be great

Some shots of our messabout last year; Bob Holtzman, me, Alex & Jack B. This was at Little Neck in Ipswich, at the north tip of Crane's Beach. It was a superb spot; the launch was a bit of a haul from the beach, but rowboats could be towed if necessary.

Got the email Marc. It's about even to the north or south shore for me, so whatever everyone else decides is great. June 30th sounds good to me.

June 30 works for me. I like the south shore if a spot can be found. Definitely a shorter ride from CT. As far as the Cape goes, the traffic getting that close to the 4th will probably be tough. I have limited knowledge of south shore boating access. Looking forward to it.
