Nah. Ain't gonna happen this week  But it could. I finished the outside glass this weekend, so I know it will float. Got a few more details to attend to though.

Wow you did a nice job! It's a great feeling to get a boat you built by hand on the water. Congratulations!

Thanks again for the great comments, it just adds to the sense of accomplishment one feels on launch day, you guy's already know how that feels. WAHOO!

DrBones, I used your site dozens of time for reference and I will re-enforce my rod holders when I get around to installing them, thank you.

PastorBob, Wait till Mayea's get a hold of this, ha ha. You would appreciate this, I bought the 25hp Evenrude site unseen from a Duck Hunter, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when he delivered it that it was painted camo green!! My first thought was that I could always paint it but now that it's on the boat I think it looks good.

Anyone wanna go fishing??

Great job!! I think that is the first tiller steered Od16 that I've seen. Very nice job.

Thanks Chris, the tiller was a tough decision, I don't regret it but I think the next boat will be a center console simuliar to your OD18.

Quick update, I have been out fishing in the OD-16 and I have to say what a pleasure it's been, the boat handles beautifully, plenty of room for 2-3 and all our fishing gear. It's been a pain in the A&^% pulling it out of the water on the trailer I have , but with some modifications to it as suggested in rcihard's thread it should be better, I'll just leave the boat in the canal for now, it's much more convenient.
Thanks again for all the help and support this forum has been, keep up the good work guy's.

Joe

Beautiful catch! Watch out how long you leave your boat in the water if you didn't put bottom paint on it. Only a week or so.
