Dave,
Nice job with the pictures. How are you producing these pics?
Thanks,

Jacques,
I have another question about the OC17. Is it possible to create a solid transom on this boat, in the manner of the CS23/25 as in the picture below? If I used a manufactured bracket, will the boat handle it, and will there be any strange side effects?

Once again, I'm going back and forth between this boat and the Nina. Thanks for your advice.

Jacques,
I'm guessing the question above got missed, so I'm posting again. Anyway, could you please tell me what you think about creating a solid transom in the OC17, as in the picture above. Also, S3 and your epoxy are completely compatible right. I'm adding a small forward sole piece to the GV13 this spring and want to try your new epoxy.

Sorry, I missed your question.
I am afraid that a bracket would chaneg the balance of the C17 too much.
We can't move the console further forward to compensate.
About resins: yes, 100% compatible.
Remember that you must sand the old epoxy before applying new layers.

Jacques, thank you, I was affraid it wouldn't work. I thought of giving up the cabin and instead, creating a seating only area up there, moving the consoles forward by their depth- basically sitting them on top of the births. But then, what's the point of the boat without the births. You can see what I mean in this picture, but you give up the cabin altogether.

James, thanks, I think you're right, that would be the best way to go.
I'm going back to the Nina now.
