Thanks for the heads up on the pics! I resized and reoriented and reduced a few, so let's see how this goes!

Yay!! A person could get a sore neck from looking at all the sideways pictures around here, good to know there is a way to get it right.

Good luck on your build, sounds like a fun winter project.

You're off to a good start. Love the workshop too. It's going to be nice and cozy once you get that heater.

Happy New Year!

Thanks Hank and Bogie! I look forward to posting some frame work in a week or so after I get back from the last bow hunt of the year up in Michigan.

Might want to do a "ergonomics" study on the height of your saw horses before you get to far down the building line. Lots of sanding on the bottom of boat.

Looks great so far!!

That is a good thought to consider for sure! I'm currently sitting at 26" to the top of the horse. I can always cut a few inches off the bottom.

Build update 01-07-19:

We installed the heater, built a layout and cutting table then attacked the transom, stingers and seat frames over the weekend. I'm also building a shorter set of saw horses to account for the height of the boat (great suggestion from one of you guys!)

Everything seems to be coming along great!

Had another productive day in the shop. It's amazing how much faster laying out and cutting sheets can be once you get in the groove. I have 2 more 1/4" sheets to cut for the hull and we'll be onto the zip tie and epoxy phase. We'll be on a cross country skiing adventure next weekend and won't be back to work on the boat for almost 2 weeks...oh well, it will still be there when we return.
