For those of you with some morbid curiosity of how things are going, I'm thinking this will work.
Works for me!

update, if you all have not given up on this one. any way this is a good way to force me to keep a record of my progress.

got the white paint on . I used Rustoleum marine paint , looks good. also going to put a little blue on too. I am not going to spend forever on getting up to 2000 grit sanding and buffing etc etc.

Started watching some vids about electrical wiring, mine was an electric shock waiting to happen, WOW. I am learning some stuff lol

Also wondering if the motor I bought even works Chrysler 45, got to start to deal with that too.

i found ezacdc.com and i'm going to get a prefab wiring harness, make life easier and safer.

Well Joe, I will say, she looks pretty good. I'm still very concerned with whether or not she'll stay afloat. Just be super careful launching, and stay close to the docks, for the first test-run. I'd want to weigh the boat first, then haul her out of the water after about 2 hours, and weigh again, just to make sure she hasn't taken on any water.

Larry, Thanks for checking in. I understand that looking good will not keep it from sinking, lol. And yes weighing it, that is a very good idea, i guess i will look for a marina that will do that for me. I did put a little drain hole in the bulge at the stern and when i did the foam i warped some window screening up in tubes from front to back to maybe help water that gets in there drain to the plug at the stern. As someone said just from condensation water may form in there.

I'm not Larry. I think you misread the quote in my signature.

Now that's creative! Can't wait for the splash!
