I have been wondering about this build. How far down are the knees or tie into the floor? Probably at the dexk eh?

It looks strong, but I forgot if you are hanging a 200 or a 425 back there.

Jist curious why you didn't wrap the thing around at the deck and build a box...

Have you seen that done up there?

Do you expect a lot of water ober the back that way? So then the sides of the splashwell are jist massive drains?

Other than this I have been mostly just cleaning up ugly warts on her. As you well know there are plenty to keep me busy but there is not much interesting to show or be picture worthy. I do have some rubrail to install and will be posting about that.

I made up two pieces of 1/4 inch glass and glued the plywood in between them. I raised things up 6 inches. That was about how far I had to go with my Bob's Bracket to get her to run right last fall.

When I am done I will put a hatch over the hole you see on top now so being sealed it will not matter if water rolls over the bracket. I ran my stringers through the transom and out to the end of the bracket. I am running 200hp on her for now. That gives me around 40 mph so that is enough..........for now

So Jaysen reminded me I was supposed to be doing something. I got trim tabs installed over the past few days. After spending so much time rebuilding the transom and making sure it was all sealed up it was tough to drill 12 holes in it below the water line. I over drilled the holes and filled with epoxy glue. When I was drilling the pilot holes I could tell I had voids. It is hard to pack filler in a hole and not trap any air. So I drilled them out again  The next time I used a syringe filled with epoxy glue and started at the bottom of the holes and worked my way out. After curing when I drilled the pilot holes I did not feel any voids :D

Still have some painting and clean up work to do but I am hoping this will keep her nose out of the air.

I was beginning to think you just pushed her into the back yard to make a bear jungle gym.

A bit paint and then...? How long till you’re getting fish with her?

David i use a plastic bag
with a straw taped into the corner of the bag. That way thickened epoxy material comes out better.
Stick it into the back of the hole and slowly back out as you squeeze, have a piece of tape ready to
put on until hard. Worked well for me.
