Does the moon affect the daytime ocean salmon bite?
A full moon can sometimes wreck our daytime reef fishing.

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
That might be what the deal was. Tons of jumpers all over but they all had lockjaw
Was not a total busted trip though. We saw the biggest Orca I think I have ever seen. When I first saw his dorsal fin I thought it was the conning tower of a sub. Must have been close to 8 feet tall
Where we anchored up for the evening we were treated to humpbacks feeding all around the boat for more than two hours. We were 100 foot offshore in 140 foot of water and they were passing between us and shore. Dive down and come up with their mouth wide open scooping up the bait fish. Amazing to watch mother nature at work

So my starting problem persists. I went to my local dealer to talk about the problem. After I described the symptoms he looked at me like I had three eyes

Nope, left Jaysen muttering "that's the craziest thing I have ever seen" After fishing I will hit up the dealer again.

Yes... but we did confirm no bad pins. And we may have identified a behavior that we can take back to the dealers and say “y’all sold something that doesn’t work, here’s proof.” You just need problems that happen faster!

Yo Fizzy!
Since you shipped the bad luck charm out of town (how does anyone go to Alaska and NOT catch fish?) has the cold start situation improved?

Still waiting on the dealer to get me the parts. Been taking a break from fishing and catching up on other things.

Any update on the Sintes?
I've just replayed the video, and have a smile on my dial.

My sisters and I are moving my mother into an assisted living home and that has been taking up my time for the past week or so. Getting old is not for a sissy
