Let's remind everybody that the cuts you see in the pictures are NOT what we show in the plans. CaptainH wants more flare.
It's fine to try to get more flare but I would add an intermediate mold to shape that bow.
We show only 2 or 3 slits and that does not require more support than mold A but with all those extra cuts, the panels should be supported better before you fiberglass. Since you stated that you made the modifications in CAD, it should be easy to cut that extra mold.

Good point Jacques, I've done more stitching since the last pictures and it is coming together nicely. I'm at the point now that I'm trying to decide how much flair I want then I'll put an intermediate station or I've been thinking that maybe I could add extra support with some strips of wood screwed to the inside a strategic locations. Thanks for a nice looking boat, you don't really get to appreciate it until you get to this point

Wood battens work well too. With long drywall screws, you can adjuts the shape by pulling the panel towards the batten. Difficult to explain but easy to do once you have seen the method.

Thats what I've done to get me to where I am. I had leftover hardwood floor scraps that work great. What would you recommend that I make the strakes out of. Fur?

Fir, pine or even foam: it doesn't matter since on such a big boat you will fiberglass them.

Do you recommend putting them on after the bottom is glassed and covering them with a single layer of glass or put them on bare wood and glass them as part of the bottom.

Couple of more pics. Not quite as far along as DeeDaddy, had a job change. However progress is being made and I hope to have glass on outside before the snow flies.
