Re: 2017 Southeast builder's meet at River Palms Cottage OCT 13-14th
All, great seeing all of you in Jensen Beach this weekend!! Glad to see some familiar faces/builders and meet new ones this weekend as well!! Very glad to see most are home and safe!! Fuzz was there with spouse and they are going to spend a little time in Florida (I think)!! Thank you to all for attending and hope we can get more builders next year!!! I think Browndog and Reid got the most photos so they will post in the next couple of days!!! Jeff

Renae and I had a great time this weekend. Thanks to Jeff and Reid for putting on another nice get together, and in a beautiful location that we will surely be coming back to sometime soon with other family members for a few days. It was great seeing and talking with everyone I met last year as well as the new members of our little club. I feel really fortunate to have met and to be part of a fun and interesting bunch, and hope to see some of you before another year goes by. And Reid, a special thanks to you for putting me on those trophy Snook. I know the ones you landed were Jacks, but I'm quite sure the ones that broke me off were giant Snook. Heavier gear required next trip for sure. Hope everyone made it home safe. Mike

That is my SC16 that I modified to keep it below 100 lbs. The thread is "Superlight SC16" if you want to see what I did to accomplish that.

Hey Everyone,
Thank you all for making the 2017 Builder's Meet another success!!! It was a great seeing everyone and talking shop. It's a rare thing to be part of such a positive group of people who come together to support each other and share in each other's company!!!
I would like to especially thank Seaslug and Fishgitr for taking me out on their FS18's. Sorry we didn't put more fish in the boat but I guess that's why they call it fishing not catching.
Pictures look great!
Talk to you all soon,
Reid
