And it gets worse
It has to be private not just everybody leave the cabin till I am done. I am thinking something along the lines of what Peter did but maybe not so fancy.

A 5 gal bucket and the costume from "Karate Kid" opening scenes won't cut it for you either? I thought only My SWMBO was that particular.
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.

Nope...........I think they are all that way. And if you do not want to return home from fishing and find your new lodging to be with the dog I think it is worth the effort to keep them happy.

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
After cutting out the deck there was a small lip left around the hull. I thought I would take care of it and then do some glassing. Nope..........no way
I did not want to grind it off so I used the SOB tool, Jaysen's term for a multi-tool. Ended up being an all day job. There was the usual 1/4-5/16 of solid glass to cut through. Had to stop part way through and go buy more carbide blades.

Time for a little honesty. Too much caffeine can get me into trouble and the last thing you want to do is head to shore when you are miles out and the fishing is good or you have four downriggers out. The head serves all.
There is no purpose in making a boat to freeze in. Maybe like a lobster boat with a crouch down head in the front and a small 2 person enclosed helm to keep the water off?
You don't owe me a picture. The picture of the for'd section was enough.

By the way, with all the width between the stringers, I'd be thinking about making a walkway to the head in between them with a step down from the helm and you'd pick up a foot of headroom for a crouch down head you could put for'd of the helm. If you do it, make sure you block it off from any fumes or you'll get a deadly CO backdraft. In your case, bracketed outboards-no, but for anyone else, relevant, so I mention. We had a little girl here in Mn die a year or three ago from boat CO. She got sick from a CO leak while sitting in the cockpit and they put her in the cuddy to rest and the cuddy had the worst CO and she didn't survive. All the best to you.

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
The SOB tool it still aptly named in my book.
1. When you first see it you think "What was that SOB thinking when he suggested this monstrosity?"
2. When you get it out and turn it on the first time you think "SOB! this thing is going to destroy my boat!"
3. Later you do something and say to yourself "S! O! B! Why did I do that?!? Where's that SOB tool so I can fix this"
4. And finally you get to the Fuzz status and say "This SOB [thing that is wrong] ain't a problem... I've got a SOB of my own just waiting to cut that off."
Am I wrong?

You and I are thinking much alike. I have been looking at the space between the strings and trying to figure out how to use it. It is tough to put a cabin on a boat like this and it not look like crap. I will have to mess with it and see what I can come up with.fallguy1000 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2017 5:17 am By the way, with all the width between the stringers, I'd be thinking about making a walkway to the head in between them with a step down from the helm and you'd pick up a foot of headroom for a crouch down head you could put for'd of the helm. I do think you have it correct.Jaysen wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2017 9:34 am The SOB tool it still aptly named in my book.

When I first saw one I thought there is a waste of money. But then I read here that the Cracker just loved his so I had to buy one and give it a try. The more I use it the more things I find it is good for. Blades and such are spendy but there is nothing cheap about a boat

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild
Well I broke out the power washer and gave it a good bath today. Pictures do not look much different but it is cleaner.
I got the first round of glassing done on the stringers to transom. If things go well I hope to have the stringers all glassed in tomorrow.
