Touche! On the other hand I wanted to be there and see you and you guys again, but sometimes one has to make choices, therefore we will be there in December again, Not with our own plane, just a rental, well just 2 rented seats on a plane

Hey Doc gorgeous pictures of the Smokies. You should have ducked down and taken a picture of Fontana Sounds like every one had a great time and loved the pictures. Sorry Deb and I couldn't make it, next year for sure.

Hi,
Made it back to Austria in one piece and I must thank all of you in Homosassa for a beautiful boat builders meet. I enjoyed every minute of it and I was looking and talking boats all the time and this is why I managed to take hardly any pictures although I bought myself a new camera before the trip. You can see the pictures in my gallery but being as bad a camera man as a boatbuilder I forgot to make pictures of the boats that were there. At least I got 4 squirrels on a power line or tree rats as Craig called them.

But I will remember the lovely moments on Johns boat downriver and Richards trip upriver to see Manatees which we did ( a mother with the young one breathing ) and the biggest fish I have seen in real life a Tarpon I think Richard called it.
Thanks again to all of you for a wonderful 70th birthday experience with the strongest beer I think I ever had.
When I came back my sister surprised me with a birthday cake of the special sort because it contains a picture of the Adelie 14 I am building which I show you here:



I know it is not half as beautiful as the Appalachian mountains which doc Dyer posted but I like it because of my boat to be finished is on it.
