Been working on the deck/swim step for the transom. Here is where I am so far. It is made of 3/4 nidacore.

I used to carry of 44 but I upgraded to a 500 smith a few years ago. It makes a 44 seem like a 38 special. Shocking part is it does not kick much more but boy does it hit harder.

I may have to upgrade, I love large bore handguns! I like to deer hunt with them. I hunt dense thickets mostly. Shots seldom go more than 80 yards.
The boat work looks great, What temp did you finally go with on the foam?

Eric just a little info for you. In looking over the inventory from my dads gun shop I found a 8 3/8s 460 S&W. I had a good friend who said he wanted it so we took it out and shot it. It kicks about like a hot 44 or just a little more. Not too bad at all. My Horniday book says you can safely get 1900FPS with a 240 grain bullet or 1600 with a 300 grain bullet. That would make it a flat shooting round for hunting.

Hey TopWater do you have something showing these tip outs you were talking about? I like the idea but sort of lost from there.
