That is really nice! It must be nice to live some place with access to craftsmen like that.

Looks great DT but I am having a hard time placing the buggy top in the correct spot in the 3D drawing?? Can you help me out here - does it sit on top of the top purple piece?

Exactly Rick. The ring at the top is what they call the belly band. The buggy top mounts to the side of that. It is not shown in the rendering. The guy doing the actual work is an unbelievable craftsmen. He has been building towers for 42 years. Started with Rybovich. Yesterday I stood there and watched for a good part of the day which I think they could do without but it is so awesome to see fabrication on the boat and not be the one doing it!

The first part of the tower is assembled. First couple pics are of the tower laying down on the jig. You can see the belly band and rear legs. The legs are bent and rolled so they clear the rear seat then roll in and back to the belly band. Unbelievable craftsmenship. I even got to help stand it up. From the floor to the belly band is 151" which puts it slightly lowered then the top on the factory flybridge boats.

Holy cow almost 13 foot above deck level :!: I hope you are not prone to sea sickness being that high up there is going to be a little movement happening.

Nice lines, great craftsmanship. If I was on top of that tower - not sure if my fear of heights would kick in before getting sea sick from the swaying.
