Re: FS14_LS
Flip went well. I had to ratchet it in a little to fit the frame just right. I got the first layer of tape fiberglass down. I'll put down the heavy glass tomorrow night.

What kind of wood do you use for the deck frame/ support structure? I was looking at oak but I'm not sure.

I used pine, nice and light. But hope other builders with more experience will give you more info on other types of wood.

Alright so I got the inside glass laid last night and did the inside frame fillets today. It's really coming along loving the process!

Thanks guys that's encouraging. I still think I'm going overboard on the epoxy usage on the glass because I'm almost out again lol. I got all the glass laid out to connect the stringers and frames and quickly realized I'm going to run out of epoxy. So I put in another order tonight. Here's some more pics.

About Trolling motor mounts.
Hey I have a transom mount trolling motor that will go on the front of the boat. I looked on the website and didnt see any trolling motor bow mounts. You guys have any favorites? Im looking at the Gheenoe Aluminum one right now. http://www.gheenoe.net/goodies.html
Looks very clean and simple to me, maybe a possible addition to the store? lol
Thanks again!

Had one on my Gheenoe 15.4 High Sider, worked great. Would let you use a less expense TM and you could easily remove to keep it safe. And less deck space used!!
