I’ll put up some better video next week.
We raised the motors 2 inches today.
The boat managed 55 mph in a 1-2 foot chop.
I think this is as good as it gets :D

Upper 40's is about as fast as I have ever been in a boat. 55 must feel like you are flat out flying :!:
I am sure all of us are looking forward to the video. :D

What he didn't post, which is WAY more important than those silly fast engines, is that he installed the electric windlass and it works! No more "Hey old man! Go pull that #@%/ing 500 lb anchor!"

That is indeed a good deal.
I would have thought at the very least you would have taught him to pull the anchor with a buoy. Not as good as a windless but way better than doing it by hand.

We got a buoy, I’m too lazy to get it out of the cabin.

Sounds reasonable to me, when you have some young, strong boat mates.
If it's my boat and I have someone else on it, One of their jobs is to pull the anchor,

Richard,
Is your pursuit a center console?
If so, does it have the tilting console?
I am working on a console redesign and am considering putting the new "top" structure of the console on hinges to fold aft. I discovered that Pursuit did this with several models but I cannot find pictures that show the console, how it opens, the hinge / latch configuration, etc...

Coincidence, around 1991, I was engineering manager at Pursuit and designed the first hinged dashboard.
The principle is simple: hinges at top and latches at the bottom but the problem was to keep it watertight.
It is just an hatch with instruments, same type of lips, drains and seals. The pronounced angle helps, just get a good seal.
Once it works, it makes life much easier.
