After a week away got home and applied fairing compound to the floor hullsides and cap. Will sand next day off and start prepping for paint.
The inside of my boat hullsides has a flat like finish with the splatter paint effect. The insides are not finished by privateer to yacht quality on this roamer skiff model.
Looking for advice on which finish to use, and a one part paint, I will be spraying. Was thinking rustoleum topsides after some reading the last few days.
Want to do my hullsides and gunnel cap white and floor white kiwi grip non skid with the white non skid on the gunnel cap as well. I think white is clean and I want a simple yet clean looking boat.

looks great
anxious to see how the Rustoleum primer and paint treats you
the directions should give instructions on overcoat time

After reading about 75 reviews I feel it's the right product to go as far as quality and budget are both concerned

Got up at six this morning headed over to my buddy shop and sanded primer and imperfections and shot the first coat of semigloss finish coat
After a substantial amount of reading on the rust oleum paint I followed the advice of many and thin with 15% xylene, and added 2oz of hardener.
So far have used 2 quarts finish with leftover that had to get thrown away and 3 quarts of primer.
With the Hardner guys are seeing 6 to 8 hours or less totally dry versus 5 to 6 days with the rest oleum depending on your climate temps etc. they are also seeing more gloss, and the durability and hardness being substantially better than rustoleum alone.

Slickcav, looks nice!! Is the paint quite shinny or is it the shade and reflections playing with my view? Jeff
