I plan to build kit car body panels from reinforcement fiberglass and I need some advice about fiberglass because I am beginner in this.
so my questions is:
1.which type fiberglass I need for produced kit car parts
2.does it exists some good books whose explane step-by-step produce parts from fiberglass
3 during building car parts how much is thickness of fiberglass and how much car parts have layers of fiberglass
4.where can I find supplier maybe near Italy, Germany..... for fiberglass, equipment and which produced metod would fit for my situation
5.how much is better with or without vacuum bagging metod for fiberglass
6.from which materials would I made molds: wood, aluminium or some other

Sorry for bad english I hope that you will understand.

Since this is a support forum for Bateau designed epoxy stitch and glue composite boats I doubt you will get many answers here. I would suggest doing a google search on composite fiberglass construction. Unless you are familiar with composites and their properties designing something yourself would be not only difficult but risky as well. Best to stick to proven designs from professional designers familiar with their respective materials. If you want to build your own car there are many interesting designs available such as at the following.

what you doing really has very little in common with how we build boats.

You will use cheap chopped strand matt and polyester resin.

This reminds me of a call a few months back from a fellow who was building one of our boats and he thought we were crazy for using such thick glass and epoxy resin. He told me that his friend made bodies for drag racer that went 200 mph - and that friend told him he only needed a little chopped mat and polyester. After all its just an 18' boat going 30 mph

I suppose that steel (or whatever) frame underneath the fiberglass shell has nothing to do with the structure.
