OB15
Well guys I finally broke down and ordered my plans for the OB15 last weekend on Sat. afternoon and they came in Wed. of the next week. Thanks for the quick response on sending them, I'm planning on starting the boat in a couple weeks after I look over the plans really well.
My biggest concern is can I build this boat light weight enough to put a 20 hp Mercury on it for the time being and later maybe a 40 hp? Will the boat plan well and how much weight will I have to keep her at in order to use this motor?

If your in or near Mobile you can get marine
ply from Stauter but its not the best quality
and will have to have LOTS of fairing to get
a good quality finish. I ordered mine from here
best price, outstanding quality, and fast shipping.
If ordering from here and if you can get a couple
sheets extra for any added things or screw ups.
Its a pretty straight forward build to me the hardest
part was cutting and building the jig. Once I had
that it was cake. Well cake with a lot of dust

Hey Scott this is whiteboy, I'm from the Robertsdale area, I wrote about the pig stories in our last discusion when I was thinking of buying the OB15 plans, And I kinda got the feeling the jig would be the big trick too how the boat will come out, well It's going to be a great project for me and next week I'm going to try to begin the jig,, what length did you make the over all jig, I'm planing on using 2x8's and how wide??
