The boat and your work look great. I say do the work that keeps you working. If that means pushing forward and sorting out the small stuff later, go for it!!
It is cool to see the sailboats come together. The big ones are rare so it's a nice change on the board.
Good luck and great building

More progress after some time away.
I got the inside bunks finished and have started on the backs of the seating area.
The other area that got by attention is the skirt.
Attached the skirt transom before cutting any part of the hull away.
I chose to add the frames in the skirt lockers which I hope will add a little more strength and prevent any vibration problems that Justin said he experienced.
Painted the inside of the skirt with Pigmented epoxy and have added more framing for the covers.

Thanks,
I try to do a little something each week, but other projects and work keep getting in the way.
One thing that I always do is read the board and look at the other boats going together and trying to learn from their experience.
This has to be one of my greatest pleasures—building my own boat!

Re: Vg20 finally underway
Making progress, I got tired of fairing and sanding the inside so I decided to work on the outside and began working on the deck.

Consider planning out your deck hardware and adding backup pads on the underside of the deck panels before final assembly. Winches and sail track in particular.
Boat looks good.

Thanks Justin,
Do you think it easier to add the pads now or would it work out to put them in
after the deck is in place and roller over? It seems like it would be simpler to have the deck in place so bulkheads won't get in way.
