Clever.
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Re: Cape Man's Dory
We bugged out yesterday morning as it was going to (and did) blow from the SW last night and today. There was a crew of newbies that I was trying to convince to leave but they were dead set on staying and were camped in a very precarious place. Hope they didn't regret it.
Came home to LOTS of burnt plants from a hard freeze here on Monday night. Going to happen again Saturday. Was cool down on the Cape. Fishing was very slow but I went with 3 guys who had never been and we were all content just sitting and talking for 4 nights watching the tides change. Magical place...

Not the Dory but the boat that started the BBV 25 years ago...
Yesterday a friend from Peace Corps Tunisia ('83 - 86'), my wife and I took a 5 hour leisure float down the Alafia River, including an hour stop at the fossilized shark teeth "honey hole". The canoe still gets attention from others...The world always seems brighter when you've just made something that wasn't there before - Neil Gaiman
