Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

We bugged out yesterday morning as it was going to (and did) blow from the SW last night and today. There was a crew of newbies that I was trying to convince to leave but they were dead set on staying and were camped in a very precarious place. Hope they didn't regret it.

Came home to LOTS of burnt plants from a hard freeze here on Monday night. Going to happen again Saturday. Was cool down on the Cape. Fishing was very slow but I went with 3 guys who had never been and we were all content just sitting and talking for 4 nights watching the tides change. Magical place...

Yesterday a friend from Peace Corps Tunisia ('83 - 86'), my wife and I took a 5 hour leisure float down the Alafia River, including an hour stop at the fossilized shark teeth "honey hole". The canoe still gets attention from others...
