8 nights at the Farnsworth Cabin near Clarendo ,PA in the Allegheny National Forest. The Cabin was built in 1930 by the CCC to suppport the trout hatchery . Word is the stream holds small native Brook Trout.

Opening the updates from NOAA as they post them. Spoke with my son this morning. Nothing I can do from here. Hoping for the best, but someone is going to get a STORM! Have seen a lot of different houses on this trip. Has given me lots of ideas on rebuilding... 8)

5 months, 26 days, 25 states, 3 Canadian Provinces, and just over 26,000 miles! Home is sweet!

Wonderful adventure, wonderful account. Thanks. What a great way to bust open retirement. :D
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).
