My front yard
Falls coming to Virginia, not much color this year, too dry, but still pretty nice. Lake is approx. 47 acres. Used to be 96' deep but in 1995 we had what the scientists called a "millenial flood event" and washed much of the mountain down into the lake, depth now around 55'.

It's called Sugar Hollow. Local history/legend says it got its name from all the sugar hauled in to the mountain streams to make moonshine in years past.
When I am on the bay, I miss the mountains and when I am home I miss the bay. Go figure
