I have two coats of Sterling Impress blue on hull(roll and tip). Looks real good. First two coats were down within 24 hrs of each other. Now I have to sand before applying third coat of sterling. Should I wet sand with 400 grit. There are some small imperfections where I sanded the primer coat down to the faring compound. I hope the third coat will cover these spots. I guess my questions is how should I sand for the third coat.
Thank You

Not exactly sure I did mine correctly, but I didn't sand in between the topcoats.

I didn't sand between the first two coats but the the directions state that after 24 hrs you should lightly sand before appling another coat of sterling.

lightly sand with 320. If you go any finer, there will nor be enough texture for the next coat to adhere. within 24 hours the next coats will chemically adhere.
