I have posted some pictures of the panels. I am going to wait to hear some responses from you more experienced builders before I proceed with the gluing. Do not want to make more mistakes at this point , or again.

Nothing but a thing Mike 8) The missing link is on the chine edge, that's good. If it were mine, I'd cut a filler strip and glue it to the edge, then cover it with a strip of biax tape. It will get covered again, inside and out with the chine taping and bottom glass. I would feel comfortable with it like that.

It won't be easy to fix but its doable. I certainly would not spend money on additional plywood. Do you still have the pieces that you cut off to get the panels that you now have? If so I would be tempted to just put the ply back together with a fiberglass splice on both sides with filler in the cut line between the panels. Then recut after it all cured. Another approach would be to just go forward and fix it up after you get the boat 3d. Personally I think that would be harder. I fixed a similar problem with my project but the gap that I had was not at the bow but rather about half way back. I too had a gap of about 2 inches.

Chris makes a good point. Put the 2 pieces, side panel and cut-off, back together, glue and tape with a FG splice, then mark it properly and re-cut. That would probably be the easiest.

Maybe a stupid question but are you sure it's the bow panels you've cut wrong? and not the bottom panels? when I was looking at the buttblocks you've cut, this question raised my mind
