Foam core project on Ship Shape TV

Post by Eric »

Just a heads up for those of you thinking of or are interested in using foam for structural projects. This weeks episode of Ship Shape TV is about making a built in cooler using divinicell <sp?> foam.

It was on at 7 am this morning (saturday) and is on again at 7 tonight.

If you can find it on your channel lineup it was interesting. They discuss several types and uses of foam. He does use some polyester resin so just hide your eyes when he does. you know, for us epoxy guys.

Be aware that this is about a cooler, not a structural part.
There is an enormous difference between foams and we will soon post an HowTo file about it.
