you're going to need plenty of tools

Measuring: measuring tape, yard stick, chalk line, level, large & small square
Cutting: jig saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, assortment of small and large hand saws, box knife, scissors
Drilling: electric drill & bits, cordless drill
Sanding: orbital sander, belt sander, sanding blocks, long boards
Painting: rollers, brushes & rags

Oh yeah and a large assortment of big & small hammers

Some people use a calking gun to make nice beads of glue, but you don't need one. I just use freezer bags and snip a corner of the bag and squeeze the glue out like decorating a cake.

You're welcome. There is one more piece of equipment you must have to build a boat..... you need a camera because we like pictures :D

Enjoy your build and we look foward to helping you as well as sharing ideas along the way.

I built one of my designs with only hand tools.
You can build most of our boats with:
- a saw (circular or jig saw)
- a sander (DA or just a disk on a drill)
- a drill for the stitches holes
plus measuring tape, spatulas, sand paper, gloves.
That's it, you don't need much.
If you have a couple different sanders, that will accelerate the process.
