got it in yesterday, looks great. I just started sanding down the selvage threads from 'glassing. Perfect timing. The $ for the extra shipping should go out today.

Stickystuff - problem:
The Rigid sander you shipped me is a 5" sander, not a 6" that I thought i was buying.
I have new in the box a 6" Rigid orbital sander for sale.
I went out and bought paper for it today, brought it home, and noticed that the 6" paper was much bigger than the sander. Sure enough, it says 5" sander right on it. i would not have bought it if I had known - it's not that much bigger than the 1/4 sheet sander I already have.

It is NOT this one:
http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/6-Random-Or ... /index.htm
is IS this one:
http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/R2601-Sander/EN/index.htm

I'm assuming this was an honest mistake, please email me before depositing the shipping check. I'll keep it if you void that check, I'll return it on your dime for a full refund otherwise.

I honestly didn't realize their was a diff. I thought it was 6". never really paid attention to size.I will void the check, tear it up or whatever you want me to do. I really am sorry about this.

Alright, sounds like a solution to me. Please just tear up the extra shipping check, and we'll call it resolved. I'll have a good back-up sander now. Maybe I can learn to sand "double fisted"

Consider it done. I really am sorry about this.I had no intention to sham you. It was an honest mistake.
from day one when I got it It I didn't even notice the size. i thought it was 6". Like I said before I only used it for about 10 minutes. I have mostly air tools and they worked faster than that one. Hope it does well for you. It is a great sander but just not the one that I used the most. good luck on your build. Keep the pictures coming.
