OK here we go the decision has been made to build the 21ft version not the scaled up version. Today the weather in Jackson was stellar. My mind worked much faster than this body could keep up with. My mind said cut these panels and join them the body said pace yourself, just cut them, don't rush. Felt like I was in a marathon lay them out cut, rerpeat. All said and done got them all cut. Cleaned up the shop and put a plan together for tomorrow. The Picture below shows the router bit I was talking about.

This next picture shows using a machinest square to position the PVC on the line.

This next photo shows the panel being layed out.

The Next are the sides cut and layed out in the driveway.

As you can see I am still having a problem with the camera focus. This is the days results, Cut all sides and bottom panels. I didn't pay attention to the nesting and hacked up leftover front panel and nesting shows reversing. Too late

Well folks just a short update. Panel assembly table. These osb sheets will become station frames after side, bottom and stringers are glued up. It is a real back saver.

I plan on screwing the panels to shim for straight joint. I will try to keep up on pics so newbees can see. The legs are old 2bys from the job we are on this will be there last use before landfill or firepit.
He goes the days events.

Dave how much did you wood did you remove from the splice area and what did
you use to do it, router? I am going to do the same thing but all i have is a
power planer. I was thinking of doing the same thing around the transom also.

Topwater I used a powerplane also. Maybe I took out 16th max. set plane on about 32nd two passes guage by eye. 12 oz is about a heavy 32 when cured. Only on outsides of hull to reduce fairing. I also did this on fl12 worked great.
Dave
On the transom area I will also maybe a little deeper there is alot of glass there.
